Gifts From The Heart

Lara Barrington is determined to never again be branded, "the small town girl he left behind." Now a local business woman, Lara Barrington has no desire to reconnect with Harrison Thomas, the boy she once loved. When fate brings him home from the big city to manage the family business, she tries to avoid him. But Harrison is suddenly everywhere: at the local yard sale, at the Old Home Day Committee meeting, and even at her dinner table. Now he’s offering a little business rivalry that the competitive Lara can’t resist. But can she accept the challenge and keep her heart safe from the charming Harrison?

Harrison has returned to his hometown to prove his worth to his father and with plans to fall into his old, comfortable relationship with Lara. But after they meet and she resists resuming their ties, he jokingly suggests a little business competition between them. Once she agrees, he finds himself distracted by the "new Lara." It isn't long before her mere presence disrupts his concentration, and he begins to take a closer look at his friend. Now he learns there's more at stake than winning a business deal...

The ending was my favorite part. Everyone came together and they were happy.
Just incredible!

My favorite part was when Katie Elizabeth sees Lara's date and announces, "He looks like Drew Cary as a biker."
A gift for my heart!

I never knew where the plot was going. You had lots of twists. You should be writing mystery.
Great book!

I got right up this morning and finished your book. I was supposed to be doing school work but I had to finish it first.

Your book should be a movie on the Lifetime Channel. It was very visual. I could picture everything happening.
